I’m loving looking out my window lately to see our beautiful snow capped desert mountains! Most people are freezing right now, up to their eyeballs in snow, and here we are… enjoying our beautiful temperatures here in the desert! Another thing I love about living here is that if you feel like you want a change of scenery, it’s only a short drive to a completely different environment…

For their Maternity photos, this couple wanted a look other than the desert. We talked about a more “wintery” look to remember the time of year that their little guy was due. So we scheduled a little drive up to the mountains for this Maternity session. It was so cold that week, and it had just rained here in the desert, which meant it had snowed in the mountains nearby. We were hoping to be able to capture the snow, and we did! There was just a light snow covering the ground, and it was cold! Too cold for those of us from the desert! lol! We froze!!! But the photos there were beautiful. And that’s just what we were planning on!

Not only was it too cold for us, but shortly after we arrived, it started to sprinkle on us, lol! It was just a very light rain, so we kept on shooting for just a little bit longer… then we were ready to wrap it up. Once we finally decided to head back to our cars, the real began! These two started dancing and playing in the snow! Even though our our cheeks were frozen, and our toes were starting to go numb, we took a few minutes to really play in the snow… snowballs and all!

This cute couple signed up for our baby plan, so I will have adorable images of their sweet little man to share soon too!
